CALLING MAINSTREAM THRU PLUS

Al graduated from mainstream class in March 1998. At his graduation he did some singing calls. Al had alway sung in church and loved to sing. Now, he is enjoying the challenge of calling also. Al's first real dance came in April, 1999 and in the summer of 2000 he attended Caller College under Tony Oxendine, Jim Mayo, and Tim Marriner. Al started the "Dixie Strutters" in Gilbert, SC in 2001. They have dancers ages 7 to 74. Al now calls for the "Dixie Strutters" the 2nd and 4th Fridays and the "A Squares" of Anderson on the 3rd Saturday of each month. Al also calls for the Camden Hi-Steppers on the Second Thursday of each month.
